Welcome to the ELHS Class of ’64

The goal of this website, which was created November 23, 2010, is to give classmates from the ELHS Class of 1964 an opportunity to reconnect. The site offers the same opportunity to relatives, friends, alumni from other classes, teachers, and principals, who can join the site as guest members.

We would like to know where you’ve been, what you’ve been doing, and where you are now, and we hope that you will use this opportunity to reconnect with your high school friends.
The site also includes several pages of historical information pertaining to the era of 1964--about both our class and the people we knew and the events and people in the "background" of our lives at that time. The aim of that section is to provide a permanent historical record of where we were and who we were in 1964.
All of the classmates’ names have been entered into the website list, found at Classmate Profiles in the menu to the left.

If you graduated from ELHS in 1964, your name appears in the menu at the left under Classmate Profiles. Find your name, click on it, and you will go to the JOIN HERE link. Follow the instructions on that page. If you have any questions, or want to be added as a guest member, click on Contact Us and send us a message.

When you find your name on the list and create your profile, please tell us what you have been doing, what you are doing now, and some of your favorite high school memories. You will find the list of current guest members at the bottom of the Classmates Profiles page.

55th Class Reunion

Believe it or not (most of us probably would prefer not to), it's almost time to celebrate the 55th anniversary of our class's graduation from ELHS. This year the main event again will be a dinner, to be held at the La Quinta Hotel in Springfield, MA on October 12.

The event originally was booked for the Holiday Inn in Enfield, where we celebrated our 50th very successfully. However, that hotel has changed ownership and is undergoing renovations that will continue thru November, hence the move.

The dinner will open at 7 and continue through 12 on October 12, the same weekend as last time. The dinner will be buffet-style, as it was last time, with a cash bar. A photographer has been engaged to take candid shots of each table, and if possible to arrange a class photo, depending on space available.

There will be a musical background (not intruding on conversation!) of mainly hits from the late 60s and 70s, with a bit of overlap into the 80s. The event is being coordinated by La Quinta business manager Jennifer Leneau. As in 2014, a block of rooms is available at the hotel for reunion partipants. Questions about the dinner and the booking should go to me, Glenn Curtis, or to Jennifer Leneau at 413-750-3101.

The weekend will conclude with a brunch Sunday morning, October 13, at the Nutmeg Restaurant on Route 5 in East Windsor, CT--the same location as the brunch for the 50th.

We're looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces, and some new ones also!
