Raymond Spaulding

The following obituary for Ray Spaulding appeared in the Springfield Union-News of August 9, 1994:

Dr. Raymond G. Spaulding, 48, of Old Route 3, a chiropractor, died Monday at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He had a practice in South China and Augusta. Born in Springfield Mass., he was a graduate of East Longmeadow, Mass., High School. He also attended Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., and was a graduate of the American International College in Springfield. He was graduated from the Logan College of Chiropractics at Chesterfield, Mo., in 1974. He was in the International Chiropractic Association; the American Chiropractic Association,; the Maine Chiropractic Association, of which he was president in 1983; the Maine Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and the Maine Chiropractic Legislative Committee. He was honored as the Maine chiropractor of 1983. He leaves his wife, the former Sherry Gilman; two daughters, Holly E. Spaulding and Wendy Ann Spaulding of Vassalboro; his parents, Richard and Barbara (Kennedy) Spaulding of Holiday, Fla. The funeral will be Thursday morning at Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home, and calling hours are set for Wednesday afternoon and evening.
