Robert "Butch" Accorsi, 55, of this town, died Friday in Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury. He was president of his family's business, City Beef Corp. in Hartford, for the past 20 years. Born in Springfield, Mass., he lived in East Longmeadow before moving to South Windsor in 1970. He was past president and longtime member of the South Windsor Lions Club. He leaves his wife, the former Barbara Johnson; three daughters, Jessica Accorsi, Rebecca Accorsi and Elizabeth Accorsi, all at home; two brothers, John P. of Somers and William F. of East Longmeadow; and a sister, Carolyn M. McKelvie of East Longmeadow. The funeral will be Tuesday morning in St. Patrick and St. Anthony Church in Hartford, and burial will be private. Calling hours are Monday late afternoon into evening at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Windsor Lions Club, P.O. Box 540, South Windsor, CT 06074.
